SENIOR EXECUTIVE (IETS COMPETENT PERSON)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Environmental lead, he provides technical support to the operations & maintenance Team to ensure production targets are met and plant maintenance is carried out without interruption to the plant production and environment. The responsibilities are including & not limited to the following:
Having IETS Competent Person certificate. He is responsible for the discharge quality, treatment process as well as environmental aspects of the Industrial Effluent Treatment System in compliance with DOE regulations.
Assisting in day to day operations and maintenance of the plant.
Responsible for utility management of the plant, keep track the supply and consumption of chemicals, electricity, water as well as SW 204 generation in the plant.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance related activities inclusive of in-house preventive maintenance activities as well as repair/maintenance activities of external sub-contractors and to ensure that the plant equipment is available and capable of meeting the contractual requirements.
Provides support to plant personnel in the troubleshooting of failures, repairs and evaluating equipment performance.
Provide support in root cause investigations in the event of plant interruptions and serves as the technical expert in equipment failure and repairs.
Participates in developing operation and maintenance strategies and gives input to plant budget.
Ensure that HSE policies and procedures are implemented and applied in all plant related activities.
The responsibilities toward HSE shall include;
(a) Wearing allocated PPE provided by employer to suit working condition requirement.
(b) Seek advice from HSE personnel for any of the PPE provided found does not provide required protection and not comfort.
(c) Participate in any program for promotion of HSE.
(d) Prevent occurrence of Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition at work place.
Ensure the cleanliness of process equipment and plant area.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
1. Min Degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering
2. Minimum 2 years experiences in WWTP
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
1. Certified competent person (BP or PCP)
WORKING HOURS
1. Able to work on 8-hour rotating shift schedule with environmental team after completion of probation period.
